Cloud computing operators play a critical role in the management and sustainability of computing infrastructures in both the public and private sectors as digitalization accelerates. With e-government applications, digital transformation projects and the transition of the private sector to cloud-based systems in Turkey, the need for technical personnel specialized in this field has increased significantly. Especially with the proliferation of data centers and the adoption of hybrid and multi-cloud architectures, it has become a strategic necessity to operate cloud computing services in a scalable, flexible and secure manner. Cloud services, led by major providers such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform, are the foundation of not only software infrastructure but also technologies such as artificial intelligence, big data and the Internet of Things (IoT). In this context, cloud computing operatorship has become indispensable for the sustainability of the global IT ecosystem and the demand for competent human resources in this field has increased rapidly.
Cloud computing operator training is structured to provide participants with both theoretical knowledge and practical competencies. The training content includes understanding the basic concepts of cloud computing, service models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), distributed system architectures, virtualization technologies and data center structures. In addition, Linux/Windows server management, basic network and security knowledge, data backup and disaster recovery systems, user access control and resource monitoring are also integral parts of the training modules. Within the scope of the training, practical work on widely used cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is carried out to improve the participants' ability to configure, monitor and troubleshoot real systems. As a result, cloud computing operator training aims to train qualified technical staff to ensure the uninterrupted, secure and efficient operation of digital infrastructures and contributes to the global employment need in this field.
